I was SHOCKED!

Let me tell you a story . . .

Recently, my Husband , Son and myself went into a Tea Room to have some lunch, it was very busy and we
were only just lucky enough to get a table. I sat down and pulled two small tables together as there was the 3 of us. One of the tables
hadn't been cleaned, but the other had. Two ladies looking for somewhere to sit, came across to where I was sitting and started to pull out one of the chairs to sit down, hardly bothering to ask me if anyone was sitting there. I politely said, there WAS somebody going to be sitting there. At that , they turned round looking for the nearest empty table which was just behing them.
The table hadn't yet been cleaned, so, bold as brass, one of the Woman, scooped the tray full of dirty dishes on her tabled and plonked them down where I was sitting . . I sat there in SHOCK at the rudeness!

Here, I give you an insight into to my family life . . .I am a 59 year old mother of 4 grown - up children, Michael (35) Stuart (33) Roberta (26) Alistair (23) and live in Dartford, Kent, UK.

You will find out stuff, I really shouldn't be telling anyone . . . Such as . . . . . .my second oldest Son Stuart (33) ,his wife Heather, Poppy (3) and Harvey (1) emigrated to Australia in October 2007, and I couldn't be happier . . .

No more dreaded visits to their home in Stowmarket, Suffolk!

Poppy was 3 on the 8th December, and we the Grandparents, were NEVER asked to babysit in all that time!

CHRISTMAS 2007 . . .practically everthing I bought for my 26 year old Daughter Roberta was a dIsaster . . . she HATED the shoulder bag, the shampoo (OK ,maybe it's a bit odd to give shampoo as a Christmas gift, but , it was LUXURY shampoo) I bought the WRONG make-up as she was very quick to point out! The only thing she DID like was the set of Molton Brown Bath products, which she gets every year! Next year, I am going to stick to a list, that I will ask her for!
